Ollie Crooks

Ollie Crooks from Dunedin is at most times a solo artist. He has a self taught style of singing with folky and bluesy undertones. His guitar style includes a lot of fingerpicking and a few percussive styles to emulate a wider sound with one instrument. His original songs are very lyrically driven with playful takes on a bunch of subjects. He also puts his spin on a wide range of cover songs, mostly old school.
