Time to celebrate some common ground. Wellington On a Plate Burger Wellington kicks off today, and we're going big this year with our Ffordd pen Llech burger. Named in honour of the tussle between NZ and Wales to claim the world's steepest street, and made using the finest ingredients from Aotearoa and Cymru.
The Ffordd pen Llech is a beef patty with lettuce, laver and aioli slaw, dill pickles, mānuka-smoked leek relish, Garage Project IPA and Kāpiti Kikorangi Blue Welsh rarebit topping in a soft bun. Paired with Garage Project Pickle Beer, this is a world-record of a burger if ever we saw one.
